Spending your life savings on your big day is not just crazy it is insanely idiotic. You can have elegant, beautiful weddings and receptions without having to go broke in the process. Today's couple knows that weddings on a budget just make more sense than spending like crazy. That and the days when the bride's parents pay for everything is just about over. Nowadays couples are often spending their own money on the wedding as many of them live together long before the wedding day.

Cheap weddings don't have to mean that you have to give up on style or sentimentality. It means using your imagination, and using your own hands or the help of friends and family rather than paying through the roof for professionals. You can save some money without skimping on any of the good stuff. Planning a cheap wedding is planning dream weddings but with much more cash left over. Wouldn't you rather have money to put down on a house or to pay for your honeymoon?

You don't have to do what everyone else is doing to make your special. There are so many ideas that can make your wedding a great deal cheaper in the long run. Some of these ideas include:

* Buying your dress secondhand * Having friends and family make your food and cake for you in lieu of a wedding gift * Using an MP3 player instead of hiring a DJ * Having your reception at home with only close friends and family * Not inviting the entire universe to your wedding

There are just so many things that you can do to make your wedding days a bit cheaper that this article alone cannot cover them all. Brainstorm and use your imagination to find more ways to stay within your budget. When you need to throw a wedding on a budget, you can always make sure that you and your fiancé opt for a wedding that does not cost as much as the average wedding. Choosing Wedding Invitations and Thank You Notes

Choosing invitations and thank you notes for a wedding can be a big task. When looking at all the different themes that are available for wedding invitations, choose a theme that reflects you and your fiancé. Also choose a theme that reflects the theme of the wedding. For example, for a spring, fall, or winter wedding, choose a seasonal invitation. If the event is very formal, choose a very elegant, ceremonial invitation. There are also many themes for outdoor or destination weddings.

Ordering

When ordering wedding invitations, consider who is going to address the invitations. Hire a calligrapher or do it yourself. It can be time consuming, make sure you have plenty of time to do the addressing, as well as stamping, and sending. Another important thing to remember when ordering wedding invitations is to order some extras for any mishaps. It is also a good idea to go ahead and order thank you notes at the same time as invitations. It will save money on shipping, and time the bride will need to do other important wedding tasks.

Sending

Invitations should typically be sent a few weeks before the wedding. For a formal event, the invitation can be sent eight weeks in advanced. For less formal events, the invitation can be sent three weeks ahead. In any case, the invitations should be sent out with enough time for guests to make arrangements to attend. If it is a destination wedding, give guests plenty of time to purchase tickets for transportation, if the wedding party itself is not picking up the bill.

Thank you notes are another story. They can be sent up to a year after the wedding. But as with all thank you notes, the longer you wait to send them, the worse off it can be. If there in no written record of who attend and what gifts they gave, a year can too long to remember, and thank you notes are not as personalized. In order to stay organized, keep a list of everyone who attended the wedding, and on the same list, or another list, keep a list of who gave what gifts. Also, try to write and send the thank you notes as soon as possible after the wedding. You will remember more details for the wedding to include in your personal comments, and will also have had time to enjoy all your new gifts.

The wedding invitations and thank you notes that are chosen will be paired with the wedding from start to finish. Choosing the right wedding invitations will shape the wedding from the start, and leave guests with a wonderful feeling.

Wedding Dresses—Semi Ancient to Modern Symbolism and Color Choice
Like many women, after you've accepted your finance's marriage proposal and your thoughts turn to the practical aspects of the wedding that is to follow, what is the first thing you think of? The wedding dress. The Wedding Dress is a symbol, offering an unforgettable lesson in hope, written with the natural simplicity and beauty of a born storyteller. Saying, "I believe in my future, I believe in the man whom I am giving myself to, I believe I have not kept myself in vain, but in the hope of life and success with my husband and the children we will bring forth." A Bride's Honor It doesn't have to be only Cinderella that's adorned in a beautiful gown! If you are soon to be a bride, then the dream of your heart, that you will stand forth in beauty with every eye beholding you doesn't need only to be a dream, but of all rights should be brought forth into a reality that in your memory you can treasure for your life time. The honor bestowed on a bride is not a new thing. To honor a bride is a quality that has been developed among God fearing people for thousands of years who have realized the limitless value that the bride holds for the groom, and the promise of life and family. These facts, although significant as they are do not speaking of a still greater reality, that being, that the bride is meant by God to be an illustration of the Bride of Christ. Tid-bits from societies around the world Color, style and ceremonial importance of the gown can depend on the religion and culture of the wedding participants. The styles and colors of wedding dresses have varied according to the fashions of the time, and the circumstances of the wedding. The wedding dress in several Middle Eastern and Eastern European cultures was highly elaborate, and regarded as a means of displaying the bride's dowry. The color blue has been connected to purity. Many wedding dresses in China are colored red, the traditional color of good luck. In northern parts of India the traditional color of women's wedding garments is red, a color symbolizing auspiciousness. South Indian weddings traditionally use white or cream colored saris. Green is an unfortunate color because of its associations with fairies, and its wearing is also said to fore-tell a change into clothes of mourning. Purple is out because it is seen as a mourning color, one favored by widows from their second year of bereavement onward. In modern western societies almost anything passes for a wedding dress however, in times of old, traditional wedding dresses were flowing gowns usually white in color. Semi-ancient Biblical Influence I suggest to you that there is a far deeper and more meaningful understanding of the color of a bride's gown than luck, or to speak of one's cultural, or financial standing. The major influence of wedding gowns being primarily white has sprung forth from two sources. The one as old as godliness itself, the other as old as the New Testament writings—One: that white represents the purity and innocence of a virgin woman. In fact, in Godey's Lady's Book, 1849, this statement was printed: "Custom has decided, from the earliest ages, that white is the most fitting hue, whatever may be the material. It is an emblem of the purity and innocence of girlhood, and the unsullied heart she now yields to her chosen one." Beyond these considerations the writings of the New Testament Bible have influenced societies, suggesting that the Bride of Christ, (a metaphorical term used to identify that chosen group of believers who will be deemed a fitting eternal partner to the Lord Jesus) is to be dressed in white. The color white testifying of the righteousness of the saints. Therefore, among God fearing people though the generations it has been their aim to copy this pattern when they have given their daughters in marriage. The question may be asked by a bride to be, "If I have not kept myself pure in the past, but have now confessed my sin, and have turned to God, can I still be married in white?" The answer is most certainly yes. For the blood of Jesus covers all sin. Therefore, all that are found in Him are white and pure in His eyes irrespective of what their past's have been. Semi-Modern Western Influences The Victorian era wisely placed a heavy emphasis on feminine purity and chastity, and since white represented these attributes, it was considered a most suitable color for a bride. The reality that the practices and affairs of leading people in society can have tremendous influence on cultures is seen in the marriage of Queen Victoria to her cousin Albert of Saxe-Coburg in 1840. It likely having more influence on the color of choice for wedding gowns than any other modern event. Queen Victoria put the wheels in motion by marrying in white. Though brides continued to wed in gowns of different colors, this single event has been seen to set the modern western standard of white being seen as the color of choice for weddings. The Industrial Revolution also brought about change. By the 1890's, and the arrival of the department store, almost every woman could realize her dream of being married in a "new" wedding dress. When the Depression hit, brides made do with their "best" dress for the wedding. Because of economic restraints many brides were known to have dyed their white wedding dress a different color after the wedding. Thus making it suitable for everyday use. During WWII, women considered it their duty to give up the elaborations of the traditional wedding, many times opting for quick and easy impromptu services before their husband was taken off by the military. After the World War economic times changed offering to women the cash needed to again experience more elaborate ceremonies.

How to Plan a Wedding Honeymoon
I always like to find out where my couples go after their wedding day for their honeymoon. I have decided to write an article on how to plan a wedding honeymoon. Now, this will not tell where all the hot spots are for newlyweds, but it will give you 7 things to keep in mind when planning your wedding honeymoon.

How to Plan a Wedding Honeymoon
things to keep in mind
1.) If your wedding is scheduled for late afternoon or evening, the groom will need to arrange for a nearby hotel for your wedding night. 2.) If you will be traveling out of town, consult with a travel agent, who can offer valuable tips on vacation sites, their available activities and weather probabilities, and take advantage of the best rates for hotel and travel accommodations. 3.) If you are flying, take a carry-on bag that contains all the essentials for a day. 4.) If you are driving a long distance, lock all luggage in the trunk as a deterrent to robbery. 5.) Carry a copy of your marriage certificate with you when traveling abroad, particularly if your passport is in your former name. 6.) Remember, do not over schedule. Your wedding honeymoon that you are planning is a time to get to know each other better. 7.) It is a nice gesture for you and your groom to telephone both your parents when you arrive at your travel destination. It will let them know you have arrived safely and will also offer another opportunity to thank them for the wedding.

A Movie Producer's Technique for an Unforgettable Wedding Video
Nowadays, when you rent a DVD to watch in the comfort of your home, you can usually count on a “Special Features” section, where the movie producer includes a “back story” or “making of the movie” featurette. This same “back story” technique can easily be added to your wedding video to add a fun, “up close and personal” touch, in playful contrast to the formality of the wedding ceremony. And it doesn't require any out of the ordinary time or effort. The main focus of the back story should be pre-wedding, on-camera interviews with the bride and groom. The wedding rehearsal is a great opportunity for these interviews to be tape recorded. Interview the bride and groom separately. They shouldn't be allowed to listen to each other's interviews. You want their comments to be an entertaining surprise when they view the finished video. Conduct the interviews in a quiet space with adequate lighting. Make sure there are no harsh shadows and/or “hot spots” on the person's face or directly behind them. If you are relying on the on-camera microphone for the interview, you will have to move the camera approximately 5-6 feet from the subject. Set your camera/tripod at eye level, and then zoom in or out to compose your shot. Using a hand-held microphone, however, will give you the discretion to compose more complex shots by increasing your camera's range and flexibilty. Set up a a slightly off-center, head shot wide enough to include their upper torso. Be sure not to cut off the top of their heads...or conversely, don't have tons of empty space above their heads. Once your shot is set up, resist the temptation to zoom in or out. You will get better interview results by having the bride and groom direct their answers to you as you stand or sit off to the side of the camera. Try to be conversational so as to put them at ease. The only time that they should look directly into the camera is when you ask them if they have anything they'd like to say to their fiancée. Here are some suggested interview questions: “You're getting married tomorrow. How do you feel?” “When did you know that _________ was the ONE?” “How did you two meet?” “What are you expecting from the wedding tomorrow?” “Is there anything you'd like to say to your bride/groom tonight?” You can also come up with your own questions. You are only limited by your imagination. Before you begin rolling tape, it is very important to instruct the bride and groom to restate the question in their answer. Example: Question:“How did you two meet?” Answer: “We met in a sociology class at the university... Question: “What are you expecting from the wedding tomorrow?” Answer: “Tomorrow I'm expecting... Explain to them that their answers need to be complete statements that makes sense all by themselves since the audience viewing the edited videotape will only hear their answer and not your question. Restating part of the question in their answer helps to avoid getting responses that don't make any sense. Also remember to keep your questions short. Short questions get long answers. Long questions get short answers. Don't be afraid to ask them to elaborate on any point that seems incomplete. At the end of the interview have them each look directly into the camera and blow a kiss, Next, have them pretend to catch a kiss, looking into the camera. And, of course, don't forget to tell them to, “smile.” Using this movie producer “Special Feature” technique will not only make your wedding video unforgettable, but exciting and fun as well!

Outdoor Michigan Wedding Reception and Ceremony: How to Plan
When planning your outdoor Michigan wedding reception and ceremony you need to give special consideration to back up plans. Yes, plans, meaning in certain situations, more than one alternative may be necessary. Questions to keep in mind as you search for the perfect location are:

1.) Are outdoor heaters available in the event of a cold snap?

2.) Is there a covered area to protect your guests from light rain or hot summer sun?

3.) Can you move inside? Does the facility have an indoor room to accommodate your event?

4.) What is the time frame for “making the call”, and who is the decision maker? (Most facilities will give you a window of a few hours on the day of the event.)

Many outdoor Michigan wedding reception and ceremony facilities are able to provide an appropriate back up location as a feature of their property. For example, the Garden Park in Holly Michigan is popular for an outdoor Michigan wedding reception and ceremony, and when the weather threatens to be a problem, the ceremony can easily be moved to an alternate location.

Some facilities require an alternate backup plan but provide very little shelter. In this case, it would be wise to reserve a portion of your budget to cover the additional expense of renting a tent. You might also consider reserving space at a local civic center in the area where your outdoor Michigan wedding reception and ceremony is being held to ensure that inclement weather will not wash away your wedding day.

Although securing a secondary location is an expensive proposition, it’s certainly better to address the issue early on in the process than at the last minute, while you’re in panic mode. Plus, you will be better able to communicate the alternative plan to all the vendors and your guests when you are not stressed.

Wedding Day Planning
Planning Your Own Wedding
Adventure is just bad planning.

Roald Amundsen

So you decided to plan and arrange the wedding yourself. Well, it saves you much expense and gives you a lot of trouble. First, you need to plan carefully every detail of your wedding. Find or work out several checklists for not to forget anything. If you are armed with a good plan you will arrange everything without fuss.

Second, you won’t be able to do it alone. Try to find one or two volunteers to help you (think about your relatives or friends of yours as the associates). Then decide what exactly you can assign to them. With a bit of luck it would happen that one of the volunteers is an expert in a particular field of the arrangements.

Since then don’t bother your associates. Let them enjoy their responsibility. You can find the checklists quite useful here, too. Ask the volunteer associates to put a tick opposite each point done just for you to be sure everything is OK. The most important issues like choosing the wedding dress should be done by you personally. The same thing with wedding day jewelry.

BUDGET

Consult with your groom and both families. You will need to find out what you want and what exactly you can afford. Decide how to share the expenses and which way you can save not trespassing upon what is crucial for you. If you don’t hold the belief that you need a very traditional wedding, you can cut the cost of some unnecessary formalities.

PEOPLE

It’s easy to compose a guest list but it’s usually quite a problem to shorten it. Decide whether you want to invite kids or not. If not, think about how to tell that to their parents. Select the bridesmaids. Make room reservations for out of town guests. After the final editing give your guest list to the ushers.

Stationery. Order invitations and announcements, personal stationery and thank you notes. Send thank you notes as gifts arrive. Mail invitations.

Miscellaneous. Don’t forget about favors, candies, groom’s & attendant’s gifts.

ARRANGEMENTS

Apply for marriage licence. Then you can assign some of the further arrangements to your associates. Choose what you’d like to do yourself and assign the rest to your volunteers:

Prewedding Parties. Plan showers. Make reservations for bridesmaids’ luncheon and rehearsal dinner.

Ceremony & Reception. Plan the ceremony and inform clergyman of all the details of it. Plan the reception and go over details of it with caterer/hotel manager. Arrange transportation for the ceremony and reception. Order a wedding cake. Choose a florist, a professional photographer and a cameraman. Make music arrangements and check the selections.

Honeymoon. Pick a honeymoon destination. Renew passports and inoculations if necessary. Make honeymoon reservations and start shopping and packing.

BEAUTY

This pleasant work is all yours. Shop for wedding gown and keep in mind that several fittings will be required. Choose the hair style and jewelry. Be extremely careful with hair-coloring and perm and better do it in advance. Schedule hair and make-up appointment for the wedding day (don’t forget about the veil). Have manicure and pedicure done the day before wedding.

How to Plan a Corporate Event Party
It is that time of the year! Before you know it, companies will start planning their corporate event parties for the coming holidays. These parties are usually done on behalf of the employees to spark moral and teamwork. So you are probably wondering how to plan a corporate event party? Well, a good rule of thumb is to start the planning stages 4-6 months prior to the date. If you are anticipating over 125 guests, then you will require more resources and this timeframe should be stretched from 6-9 months instead. Depending on your corporate culture will determine the way you go about planning a unique corporate bash. Location Location Location Going back to the guest list, you will first need to figure out how many guests will be in attendance. This will limit you with choices for a venue. If you are a larger regional or global corporation then you may need audio, visual, and hotel meeting space. If this is a less complex company, then a celebration at your local banquet facility might do the trick. If you have any out of town guests (CEOs, board members, honorary or distinguished guests) then you might want to locate your corporate event party near an airport for ease of logistics. The location should be allocated towards the largest portion of your budget; however there are other factors that are equally important. Hire the Right Team A team of professional vendors will be able to execute your vision without hesitation. A good question to ask your self is, 'how am I trying to leave an impact on at this party'? Regardless of the answer, your vendors including caterer, guest speakers, and entertainment are an extension of your reputation. A poor selection of vendors may leave a bad impression on your guests including those in management. This is the second most important area to invest your time and energy because it is the small details that can make or break a corporate event. Pick a Spontaneous Theme Do you remember your last past at your company from any of the previous years? If you have to think for more than ten seconds, then the planning committee did not do their job. When you sell or market a product, you have to establish an identity for your brand, and likewise when you plan and execute a successful party, you need to create a theme centered on your company. This theme should be different from past years. Try to implement your companies history and short term vision into the theme. There are many places to start and a good way to do this is to brainstorm with some of your co-workers to get some great ideas. Get Guests Involved We all know that one of the main purposes behind the company party is to ignite team building skills and employee moral. So how do you plan a corporate event party? Ask your guests, the employees. A great way to get instant feedback is with a newsletter addressed to all the employees. You can also mass e-mail a link to a survey for specific requests to all the employees. You might want to get an idea of the type of entrees guests might want. They will be able to tell you fun ways to promote team spirit and what type of vibe they are expecting from the party. The more you center the company party around your employees the more successful the event will be. Finally be Creative After you have read the above tips on how to plan the perfect corporate party, the final advice is to be creative. There are many stresses associated with being responsible for the company party, do not let this limit ideas. Many times people will not try creative ideas because they are afraid it will flop and management will put the blame on them. Just because it is a company party does not mean that waltz music will be played the entire evening. Just because it is a company party does not mean your guests should expect the traditional format with speeches and dinner selections. You will be surprised with the compliments you will receive if you think outside of the box. For example get a sushi bar, use Accent Lighting, or have an all white party. As you can tell the possibilities are endless. So if you want to leave a lasting impression on your guests keep them in mind and choose a theme that will surprise everyone including yourself!

The Secret Tool for Editing the Perfect Wedding Video
If your wedding video consists only of raw footage shot by friends and relatives because your budget had no room for professional videography services, don't despair. You can still have a beautifully edited video by doing it yourself or hiring a video editor. In either case you can save substantial time and money by first organizing the footage yourself with the help of a secret tool called "logging." Logging is a process whereby you review/playback the footage and write down or “log” the starting and stopping times, per the time code, of your preferred shots. You can make your own log sheets simply by taking blank pieces of paper (8 1/2 x 11) and drawing grids containing rows and columns. At the top of the page you can have rows and columns in which you insert basic information about the program you are editing. For example, you will want rows for the name of the wedding, the date, the name of the cameraperson, and the videotape cassette number. This is important if the footage comes from more than one camera that used more than one tape. This way you will know who shot the footage and which videotape cassette your are logging. Don't forget to have a place where you can number your log sheets (e.g. Page ___ of ___). This helps to keep you from getting lost when you have multiple log sheets/pages. Now add about twenty-five rows, divided into four columns. Head the columns as follows: "Action" "Start" "Stop" "Comments". As you play back the tapes, write down the specific action you are viewing (e.g., "entrance of first bridesmaid," or "mother of bride being escorted to seat," etc.) Write down the time code when the action starts and then write down the time code when the action stops. Most newer digital cameras place an automatic time code on your footage. (The time code isn't really “on” your footage, but is a part of the playback display.) However, if you're using VHS or another analog format, before viewing the footage, be sure to reset the video player's counter to 00:00:00 for each tape before you begin logging. You will also rate or "comment" on each one of your log entries according to its suitability (e.g., “don't use,” “must use,” “so-so,” “really bad”), or any other notes that you wish to remember about a particular shot. Once the logging is complete, and you have selected all the shots you want to use, you will have a blueprint for editing the video. This “blueprint” will have the added benefit of substantially reducing the time you or an editor spends in the editing suite. Since most professional editors charge by the hour, this can result in significant cost savings. Video editing is the process of building a video program, shot by shot, by electronically cutting and splicing the raw footage, in order to tell a story in the most seamless, compelling and entertaining way. Editing allows you to keep the good and dump the bad, thereby creating a finished product that is more than the sum of its parts. Picture the footage as a very long chain. The footage, like a chain, is made up of individual shots or “links”. You select and assemble the shots or "links" together to tell your story. Video editing is a very creative and exhilarating process. However, you might want to resist the temptation to channel Steven Spielberg, by getting carried away with effects like too much slow motion, or using every wipe and dissolve in you editing program's arsenal. Remember... this is about the bride and groom and not about you and your burgeoning editing talents. Whether you decide to edit the footage yourself or hire a professional editor, using the secret tool, "logging" will put you well on your way toward having a beautifully edited wedding video that you will treasure forever.

Mission Point Resort Hotel
Wedding receptions on Mackinac Island (sometimes referred to as Mackinaw Island) should be flawless. Most brides have their engagement at one of the many banquet halls in Mackinac Island because of the casual atmosphere and gorgeous surroundings. The last thing you should worry about would be the service that the hotel would give your wedding vendors and guests attending the celebration. Since my recent wedding reception at Mission Point Resort Hotel in Mackinac Island Michigan, I was very disappointed with the service and unnecessary stress I received.
Mission Point Resort Hotel Personally, I have had the pleasure of entertaining thousands of wedding receptions here in Michigan. We take a very personalized approach when dealing with our clients and wedding vendors. From what I can recall, I have never experienced a situation so unpleasant when working with a so called reputable banquet facility. Mission Point Resort almost ruined my entire weekend by costing me hundreds in avoidable travel expenses and canceled meetings. I feel that our 200,000+ visitors a year might find the following Mission Point Resort Hotel Mackinac Island review beneficial. Vendors beware; Mission Point Resort in Mackinac Island is a headache for dealing with logistics. Before arriving on the Island, our client told us that the company equipment would be delivered directly to the Summit Room. Our equipment was left outside in a damp environment (can you imagine if their negligence would have affected your reception). Since we were not allowed to use the elevator, we had to carry the equipment to the room ourselves. The assistance that we were guaranteed was not available and after talking with the staff, they were not forthcoming with help. Mission Point Resort Hotel in Mackinac Island Michigan is Unorganized One word for Mission Point Resort Banquet Hall is unorganized. Honestly, there is no room to drop the ball on a couple who are investing time and money into your facility for their reception. One of my main concerns when dealing with the wedding reception was the logistics of our equipment. I remember talking with several employees and getting several conflicting answers. One employee told me we would have to come back to the hotel in the morning JUST to carry the equipment onto a dolly to be transported to the dock. Another employee told me that the bell staff would take care of this entire inconvenience for us. Since he was a representative of the company we took his word for it, knowing everything was handled. We were prepared to dock the Arnold Line ferry at 3pm the following day. I had a business meeting in Detroit at 8pm with a bride so our equipment was already suppose to be in Mackinac City. At 2:55 I decided to make the phone call to Mission Point to make sure that our equipment was delivered to the dock on time. And guess what... the equipment was never delivered! Why should I have to worry about this? I was told by two different employees it would be there at 2pm. My company name and phone number were placed on every bag. They had two hours to reach me if there was any issue, no follow-up procedure was done! If I would have went on the ferry, Mission Point Resort would have: A.) made me take the last ferry back across to the island my equipment was still on
B.) walk 20 minutes across the island ONLY to carry it onto a dolly since it was an insurance liability
C.) since we would have missed the final 4pm ferry, we would of had to spend money on an over night hotel/bed & breakfast
D.) cancel my meeting with my bride in Detroit at 8pm
Why is this considered an insurance liability, when you can take care of my equipment in transit between the dock and your hotel? For your info, we had to wait several hours for the next ferry which cost me my meeting with my bride... thanks Mission Point. Manager James Salem One person that could have rectified this entire situation was Mr. James Salem (aka Jimmy or Jim). Manager James Salem could care less about my dilemma. I made attempts to contact him about what I should do. Jimmy Salem of Mission Point Resort was very reluctant to providing solutions to the problem. My understanding from our conversation was that if I was a guest he would of helped me. Since I was a wedding vendor Jim did not have time. This very impersonal approach towards weddings is the complete opposite of professional integrity. If Jimmy treats wedding vendors like this, how do you imagine he would treat guests on your special day? I think Mr. James Salem needs to go back to customer service school :( Guest Review Mackinac Island Mission Point Resort Hotel We were told from locals on Mackinac Island that the service we encountered was not uncommon for Mission Point Resort Hotel. Bags are constantly lost and damaged when falling off their shuttle. Guests have often missed their ferry due to lost luggage at docks and bags left behind at the hotel. Guest missing ferry rides are forced to find alternate solutions. This includes having to stay an additional night on the island which completely screws up someone's vacation. How would you feel if this happened to you after trusting them with your personal belongings? No bride, vendor, or guest should have to deal with the confusion that Jimmy Salem put me through. Bottom line Book your wedding reception at ANY place besides Mission Point Resort Hotel in Mackinac Island Michigan. I would never treat a bride or wedding professional in any way comparable to their standards. They care about your money and not your memories.
